Knott's Photos

Last month the kids went to Knott's Berry Farm with Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Heidi, and Uncle Jonathan. (Mommy had a nice time at home with Ransom.) Here are some of the pics they took:

If Not Eve...

This morning Hero informed me, "I would wish I had lived with Adam and Eve, then I could have all the fruit I want." If Eve didn't take the fruit, Hero sure would have.

Shopping

Today I went shopping at Target with all three kids. I'm sure that it was temporary insanity that led me to believe that I could do this without any mishaps. We shopped for three birthday presents and diapers in record time. (Part of this time-saving was done by conveniently forgotting an item, but that is what happens when you don't make a list.) Amazingly enough, my kids were fairly well behaved the whole time. We had one problem when a certain little girl said, "Move on by, lady, move on by," to a browsing customer. After discussing with my daughter how that doesn't show people God's love, she spent the rest of our shopping time singing, "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" and making up her own verses up to go along with it. I got my workout by pushing around one of those big carts with the toddler seats attached. (This was the kids incentive to be good.) We made it out of Target in less than twenty minutes which I would have never thought we were capable of.

Hero has made her first potholder. It's a fun way to practice patterns.

2 Month Check-Up

Ransom is growing so fast. He now weighs 11 lbs 9 oz and is 23 1/2" long. He has started to wear some of his 3-6 month clothes. I'm excited about the clothes because he does have some really cute outfits!
He had to get 3 shots today. He did great for the first two, but screamed for the third. He has been sleepy and grumpy since.
The highlight of my day was the blowout he had while we were waiting for the doctor. It didn't get on his clothes because he was only wearing the diaper. Unfortunately I didn't realize how bad it was when I set him on my knee. (A side note...those Tide-to-Go things work pretty good.)

Anniversary

For our anniversary on the 21st, we took a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tram. We had some great views and saw some snow!

December Leaves

I know that it is December, but here we still have Fall leaves. The kids are "helping" Daddy rake them up.

Dentist

Hero and Jericho had their second trip to the dentist. Their first trip was a year ago and things did not go well at all. This time was much better. Hero did great the entire time. Jericho did cry at first, but was fine when he sat on my lap. What brave kids and no cavities!

Christmas Train

When my Dad said that he was going to give us a train for our tree, I had in mind a rather small one. I assumed that the track would encircle the base of our tree with a circumference of about a foot or so. So, I was a little surprised with the large scale train and the track that can make a 4' circle or a 10'x 6' oval. Jericho almost had a heart attack when he saw the box and couldn't wait for Daddy to come home and put it together. Thanks, Grandpa! Posted by Picasa

1 Month Check-up

Ransom is growing fast. He now weighs 9lbs 9oz and is 21 1/4" long. He can now wear some of his 0-3 month size clothes instead of only "newborn" sizes.

Christmas Parade

Hero was in Hemet's Annual Christmas parade on Saturday with her dance class. Jericho enjoyed watching and getting candy!
